🚗 Ouarzazate & Ait Ben Haddou Excursion

This morning, you will be met at your hotel for a full-day excursion to Ouarzazate and Ait Ben Haddou.

The drive takes you across the High Atlas Mountains via the magnificent Tizi n'Tichka Pass (2262m), which lies between the Marrakech Plains and the gateway to the Sahara Desert.

Highlights include:

• Ait Ben Haddou – a spectacular fortress and iconic landscape featured in films such as Lawrence of Arabia and Gladiator
• Ouarzazate – also known as “Morocco’s Hollywood”
• Kasbah Taourirt – one of Morocco’s most beautiful Kasbahs, once considered the largest in the country, now a historical monument paying tribute to the Glaoui
• Kasbah Tifoultoute – offering stunning views over the valley; said to be over 300 years old, but with much of its current structure dating to the 20th century. Converted into a hotel in the 1960s for the cast of Lawrence of Arabia
• A visit to a film studio, where famous desert scenes were and are still being filmed

In the afternoon, transfer back to Marrakech.
