Description
Visiting Tunisia takes you geographically to the northernmost point on the African continent.
Historically speaking, this trip will take you back to 12th century BC and earlier dates when the Berbers first inhabited Tunisia and later on the Phoenician immigrants settled in the area and founded Carthage.
After the Phoenicians, the Romans occupied Tunisia for more than eight hundred years.
The Romans introduced Christianity and left architectural legacies.

đŦ Arrival & Full-Day Tour
Arrival at Tunis Airport in the morning with a personalized welcome.
đī¸ Visit to Bardo Museum
Departure to the Bardo Museum, located in the old palace of the Bey. The museum offers a deep dive into Tunisian history, with highlights from the Punic, Roman, and Christian periods. It also houses the world's largest mosaic collection and features relics spanning from prehistoric times to the contemporary era.
đē Visit to Carthage
Explore Carthage, the ancient Phoenician stronghold. Highlights include:
- The Admirals Island and reconstructed pavilion with its shrine and docks
- The ancient sanctuary of Goddess Tanit (Tophet), with hundreds of funeral steles
- The impressive Baths of Antonin
- Photo stop at the Punic Harbour

đī¸ Visit to Sidi Bou Said
Departure to the Moorish village of Sidi Bou Said, famous for its blue and white houses perched on cliffs overlooking the Bay of Tunis. Enjoy free time to explore this charming village, steeped in local legend and history.

After breakfast, drive to Kairouan, once the capital of the Maghreb and still an important center of Islam, home to many significant museums and landmarks.
Highlights include:
- Aghlabite Pools â impressive hydraulic engineering works from the Middle Ages, built to supply water to the city
- Sidi Sahbi Mausoleum (Mosque of the Barber) â dating from the 17th century and containing a Madersa (Islamic school)
- Sidi Okba Great Mosque â a major reference point in Islamic architecture

These fascinating oases are located in spectacular settings. During the Roman era, a military outpost, Ad Speculum, was established in this mountainside region near the border of the Roman limes.

Travel to Douz, known as the "Gate of the Sahara," passing by the Chott El Jerid Salt Lake.
